“Takes hold and doesn’t let go. Michael Kilman is an extremely talented author. His prose is beautiful and the imagination he must have to come up with the plot for this book floors me. I cried, had goosebumps. The evilness is chilling, the heroes multifaceted, the setting imaginative.” — Verified Amazon reviewer
The Children of Gaia won’t stop until every last walking city is destroyed.
The city of Langeles is rubble, resources are dwindling, and storm systems are larger than ever before. The people of Manhasten are in great danger and they don’t even know it yet.
Forty years have passed since Mimi joined her telepathic sisters of the Order of the Eye. But the winds of change are blowing, and their enemy waits in the shadows to turn the city to ash. At the center of it all is Runner 17, a man as ancient as Manhasten itself, a man who is more than he knows, and perhaps the only one who can save what remains of humanity.

Good sci-fi story. I really like the sentence about the tattoo. I didn’t like the word bits in the second sentence. I think you could use a better noun. Also, you have repeated ‘now’ in the synopsis which reads uncomfortably. Finally, the last annoyance was the repetition of the helmet brand. I liked it the first time but referring to it each time got annoying.
Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to engage the story. Very much appreciated
Great start Michael. Left me dying for more. There are a few typos but apart from that great read. Do you have beta readers to pick up any blips that might get through the editing process?
Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy.
Hey Patrick, the first two books of the series have been released if you are still interested. They have been professionally edited.
I have just finished the second book and really excited for the third one. Will the hard copy of the third book be release on the same day?
Yes! October 17th is the release date for book 3
